Terms of Service

1. Overview

VoltSpend is a financial technology service that helps you issue and use virtual Visa / Mastercard cards from a balance funded with crypto. Regulated functions such as card issuance, payment processing and custody are provided by licensed partners, and VoltSpend is not a bank.

2. Eligibility

The service is for users aged 18 or over who have the legal capacity to accept these terms.

Users in countries or regions where the service is not offered, or who are subject to applicable sanctions, are restricted. Additional verification may be requested under the issuing partner policy.

3. Account

The account token issued at sign-up is the only key used to log in and may be hard to recover if lost, so keep it safe. The account holder is responsible for activity carried out with the token.

The number of accounts that can be created from one network may be limited.

4. Top-up, payments and fees

Top-ups are by supported cryptocurrencies only, with the tiered fees shown on the Pricing page. Issued cards are charged against your wallet balance.

Fees, rates and limits may change after prior notice.

5. Prohibited use

Illegal transactions, money laundering or terrorist financing, impersonation, and abuse of the service are prohibited.

Use may be restricted in categories or countries limited by card-network or issuer policy or applicable law, including gambling and lotteries and cash-like transactions such as cash withdrawal or money transfer. Violations may lead to restriction or termination without prior notice.

6. Card issuance and validity

Card issuance, payments and custody are handled by licensed issuing partners. The actually available countries, currencies and limits, card validity period and treatment of unused balance follow the partner policy.

7. Intellectual property

Rights to VoltSpend trademarks, logos, design and content belong to VoltSpend or the rightful owner and may not be copied, distributed or used without prior consent.

8. Changes and suspension

All or part of the service may change or be suspended for operational, technical or regulatory reasons, and significant changes are announced by reasonable means.

9. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. VoltSpend may restrict or terminate an account where required by a breach of terms, abuse, or law or partner policy.

10. Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is", and availability may vary by country, regulation and partner. To the extent permitted by law, VoltSpend is not liable for indirect or incidental damages.

11. Changes, governing terms and contact

These terms may be revised as needed, with the effective date and content announced. Use of the service is also subject to applicable law and card-network and issuer policies.
